My Beloved Non-Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath

If immersing oneself in still water is therapeutic, moving water in a whirlpool bath logically amplifies the healing power.

That's why Jacuzzi is a bomb albeit expensive.

That's why other brands of personalized whirlpools are penetrating into homes, no longer limited to the rich and hospitalized patients.

The strangest brand I know of comes with chromatherapy system meaning they have lights to illuminate the bath water into red, orange, violet, yellow, green, purple and blue. Each colour purportedly treats a range of health problems. If you're constipated, switch on the yellow light. If you have chronic constipation, turn on the purple light.

Jacuzzi is beyond my budget, so I invest in a portable sort of whirlpool...cheaper stuff has its disadvantage, this machine is darn noisy.

Use a lonnnnng hose to connect the machine and the bath mat.

Some products are not suitable for diabetic patients. This one I am using, is okay for diabetics. So check the no-no's of the whirlpools you intend to purchase, especially when there is a frail person or pregnant women who might use it.

I mix hot water with cold water in another pail. I don't want to pour hot water on the bath mat as this will ruin it.

Add essential oils or bath salt or both. My favourite is Melissa bath salt.

Ah the bubbles are calling me. They are my masseur. They are going to give my whole body a very good massage, better than a human masseur as they can cover even the most embarrassing acupressure points which a human masseur is shy to touch. Don't soak too long just 15 minutes will do for each session. This is the most blissful constipation relief.
