Pictures of the Anal Canal

How's the status of the end part of your digestive system, pictures of smooth exit or constipation?

Situated at the inferior end of the rectum and ends at the anus, the anal canal is the last 2-3 cm of the digestive tract. Its smooth muscles are thicker than that of the rectum. At the superior end of the anal canal is the internal anal sphincter while at the inferior end, skeletal muscles forms the external anal sphincter.

Relatively thin longitudinal ridges on the internal lining of the anal canal are called anal columns. In between the columns, there are small depressions called anal sinuses.

Assuming there is no constipation, as you are enjoying your toilet visit, your poo exerts pressure on the anal sinuses, causing their cells to release extra mucus to lubricate the anal canal while the internal and external anal sphincters contract and relax the opening to the anal canal.
